help! - getting a job on a cruise ship~!?

Q) im taking tourism, computing and photography at school in the hopes that these skills will help me to get a job on a cruise ship - is there anything more i can do to get my foot in the door.

A) Well I'm not sure what type of job u want to do on the cruise ship but having some experience in one of these, a server, management, housekeeping, entertainment, laundry attendant would b very helpful.....
